DUNE PAWS started in 2024 because we could not find a collar that was reflective, light, engraved — and did not cost a third of a groomer's visit. Six pieces and three sets later, that is still the whole catalogue.
Our story
It began with one unreadable tag.
Our first dog, Nour, is a saluki mix with a long neck and no body fat. Her brass tag went blank in a summer, and every reflective collar we found was either a hunting brand or a plastic clip that failed at the worst moment.
So we did the boring thing: found workshops that could weave reflective yarn into 1000D nylon and laser-cut a stainless plate, then spent eight months getting one collar right. The collar is version nine. Versions one through eight are in a box.
We ship cross-border from China to the UAE in 7–12 days, and we still answer every WhatsApp message ourselves.
Materials
Chosen for 45°C, not for a photoshoot
Four materials cover the whole range. Each one was picked because it fails differently — or rather, does not fail.
1000D nylon & reflective yarn
The collar webbing is dense enough to hold a stitched plate flat, and the reflective lines are woven in rather than printed on, so they survive washing.
Cotton and evaporative fabric
120 gsm cotton for the bandanas and a PVA core for the cooling wrap. Both breathe; neither traps heat against the skin the way coated webbing does.
304 stainless & 3Cr13 steel
Solid, not plated. Plating flakes at the beach; solid steel just gets a patina. The nail clipper blade is hardened so it cuts rather than crushes.
What we do not use
No PU leather, no glued linings, no plastic D-rings, no button-cell batteries. If a part can fail at the worst moment, or adds a shipping restriction, we leave it out.
How we work
Six SKUs, three jobs, small runs.
We do not hold thousands of units in a warehouse. Every colourway is produced in runs of 100–300 pieces and shipped direct from our workshop partners, dispatched within two business days of your order.
